大量研究已提出身體活動和運動是促進大腦健康發展與老化的重要因子,因此,藉由運動訓練來提升身體適能已被反映能提升某些認知功能,然而,是否不同的運動處方會產生不同效果值得去了解。這場演講將介紹不同運動模式(例如:單次急性運動 vs. 長期規律運動;開放式運動 vs. 封閉式運動)對健康與慢性疾病老年人(例如:失智症前的輕微認知障礙族群)、年輕人和發展協調障礙兒童的神經認知表現,另外,藉由運動所誘發的不同分子機制(例如:神經成長因子、血管生成因子、發炎指標)潛在地促進上述族群的認知功能也將會被討論。
Abstract
The vast majority of studies have proposed that physical activity and exercise are important factors that strongly promote healthy brain development/aging. Improvements in physical fitness via exercise training are thus reflected in enhancements of a number of cognitive functions. However, whether the different exercise prescriptions impact distinct effects needs to be understood. In this talk, the effects of different exercise modes (i.e., acute vs. chronic exercise, and open- vs. closed-skill exercise) on neurocognitive performance in the young and older adults (e.g., healthy ones and the elderly with mild cognitive impairment) and children with developmental coordination disorder will be introduced. The divergent exercise-induced molecular mechanisms (e.g., neurotrophic, angiogenic, and inflammatory factors) to potentially facilitate neurocognitive performance will also be discussed.
